CBSM Mission to Mexico 2002
Day 13: July 13th, 2002
Last Day, Next Day... Today was our last full day in Mexico. The houses are built, the church looks great, and we went to the center of Juarez Park to do our ministry. Despite a few glitches, the puppets and dramas went off great. We talked with the people of Juarez, and prayed with them. After
the ministry, we were all treated to a trip to the Juarez market. Many
mission members learned how to haggle for the best prices, but we will
let them brag to you all about it themselves. We found lots of sparkle,
lots of junk, and some real bargains there. Once back at the church, we had a time of prayer and reflection of the past two weeks. Many students, and staff, have had their lives changed these past two weeks. Many thanks to Cedarbrook, parents, WYAM, Casas Por Christo, and of course, Daren Hull! Having finished an impromptu birthday party for Mike Payne, we are now preparing for sleep for the last time under this roof. God has blessed us these last two weeks, and we are grateful. Please pray for our safe journey home. See you Sunday Night! |
