well maybe if you and i talk to each other ,more people will jump in sounds like a plan to me ,you tell me something you are doing to be more self reliant and i will do the same ,my latest project is not really toward self reliance ,but more toward reviving a dying craft ,i have taught myself to tat ,all three kinds of tatting shuttle ,needle and cro-tatting

sorry it has taking me a couple of days to get back here ,tatting is an old craft done with a shuttle ,it like crochet is a system of tying knots to form a lacy material ,it is beautiful, easy to do and a dying art ,there is a new fangled way of doing it with a needle and even a way to combine it with crochet called cro- tatting ,i was thinking about posting about it on here to maybe get a little traffic on this site what do you think ,i love this site and would love to see it alive again,but you would need to tell me where to post about it here
